About Whisker Kitty Wellness

*Cat Specialist, but available to work with dogs by request & on a case by case basis*

I've always had a deep connection and extraordinary love for animals. From the injured bunnies and squirrels to the cats that would follow me home when I was a child, there wasn't an animal I could leave behind. Needless to say, I've spent my entire life with animals and learning all that I could about how they communicate and what it takes to help them live their happiest, healthiest lives. I've had cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, horses, and even fish, so animals have always been an important and integral part of my life!

Along with my love for animals, I also believe in a natural approach to health and wellness whenever possible, which is why I decided to pursue my passion for helping animals through a natural, integrative, holistic health approach. From hands-on physical therapies to nutrition, I work with you and your pet, as well as with your primary care veterinarian(s), to provide the right therapy and guidance to help speed healing and recovery time for your pet and/or maintain a high level of health so that your pets can thrive!

My specialty is with cats, but I also work with dogs occasionally, so if your furbaby is having issues, either physical or behavioral, please contact me so that we can discuss your concerns!

What is a Natural, Integrative Holistic Approach?

A natural, holistic approach is one that focuses on the whole animal when looking to improve a specific condition an animal may be struggling with, or to simply help the animal achieve and maintain his/her overall well-being. The integrative part of the equation encompasses both Eastern and Western practices utilizing both holistic natural modalities, including your veterinarian's advice for medications, lab work, and surgery, when and if needed. There are many different modalities that can be very beneficial for your cat that may not always be readily available through traditional veterinary care. Things such as such as acupressure, massage, cold laser therapy, and nutrition, can be used when working with a natural, holistic animal wellness specialist and can help improve your cat's health, wellness and overall wellbeing.  Alternative ways of addressing a pet's health challenges, chronic conditions, and/or behavior issues have gained in popularity, as more and more people are recognizing the benefits of these types of therapies.

I work with you and your cat in the comfort of your own home by assessing and addressing your cat's physical and emotional health and how to help them achieve an overall state of well-being. Whether it's to help alleviate a chronic condition like arthritis or to help support your pet through vet-prescribed therapies such as chemotherapy, rehab after an injury or surgery, or other types of trauma, my goal is to help your cat feel his or her very best!

Please explore my site to learn more about what I offer and how I might be able to help your cat(s) achieve a better state of health and wellness. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me by email. If you'd like to talk by phone, I'd be more than happy to arrange a time for us to discuss what your pet is experiencing and to see if my services might be able to help your cat(s) feel better!
